GULL Super Mew Fin
Gulls super mew, made of their famed kinugawa hybridised rubber, offers good fit, comfort, and responsive propulsion.
The fin ribs operate to catch water, reducing escape to the sides, and then funnels it down the more rigid blade to escape down the cutout; doing so allows the escaping water to move down the cutout like a funnel, further increasing pressure and thrust.
The rubber differs from area to area; a softer foot pocket, and more rigid ribs and blade, are all optimised to perform their function well; a comfortable foot pocket, and a strong thrusting blade etc.

Easy turn up
A new system has been designed to enable easy fitting by simply using your fingers to pull up the folded back heel section. It's easy, too, even if wearing thick gloves. The heel is made of soft, pliant rubber. Without the usual bother of getting the fins on, now you can enjoy using full fit fins.
3D pocket
Firmly gripping the Achilles tendon, to reduce looseness, a 3D pocket line has been designed to hold your foot just like a sports shoe. When your fins feel like an extension of your legs, you can more completely control finning motions.
Scalloped blade end
The end of the fin is shaped to allow water to smoothly escape. Because the blade rebounds more quickly, when doing finwork, you can efficiently keep on kicking.
Hybrid rubber for greater propulsion
To ensure smooth yet tenacious and sure propulsive power, the hardness of the rubber used for the foot pocket, blade, and ribs has been optimized.
Rib form
The ribs have been given a higher profile and are even stronger than on the Mew Fin. Overall, the blade has good resilience and lets you get a secure catch and avoid side planing and blade twist.
Side slip stoppers
Wraparound tread is a standard feature of Barracuda fins. Offering great protection against side slippage boat decks or rocky shores, in entries where the footing is poor, you get a more secure grip.
